The Firm

The firm was a project I completed during my second year of my extended diploma. It was inspired by Guy Ritchie's British gangster films and Juno Calypso's character photography, which influenced me in creating this constructed narrative shoot.

In this series, I developed characters for “The Firm.” The key roles include Johnny "The Lion" Ashton, Selina "The Lioness" Ashton, and Richard "The Trigger" Becher. I created the background using old newspaper cuttings related to criminals and gangsters, which allude to the 1949 photographs of American gangster Mickey Cohen, taken by photographer Ed Clark for Time and Life magazine.
